June 7, 2021 - Decanted for 2 hours. Blackberry nose. Deep ruby color with medium legs. This greatly improved over the meal. Plum, tobacco, and slate were prominent.

May 25, 2020 - Eucalyptus and licorice on the nose with some dark fruit. Lots of strawberry on the palate with pipe tobacco on the finish. Enjoyed with grilled steak, twice baked potatoes, and western style pinto beans. Paired great!

September 20, 2019 - Wasn't sure what to expect opening this one way past its window. Drank with grilled ribeye. Color was dark purple with no sign of age. Dark black ripe fruit and pepper on the nose. Fruit, graphite, and earthy stone on a long soft finish.

November 4, 2013 - Hanging in there. Still nice elements of black fruit but now hints of truffle with fine tannins.
