March 6, 2024 - 12.56% abv. 45° F. Pours clear, pastel/brass/green color. NOSE: calcium, salt, wilted white peach and pear; squarely on the restrained side of the spectrum. MOUTH: juicy; fallen gooseberry; lemon/mint frosting; bracing freshness; acidity of mature fruit coincide with pulsing, stiff phenolics. TEMP: as the drink warms it begins to talk about exotic farm marmalades—bargamot, cumin, sorrel. SUM: Le Buisson Pouilleux is a familiar item around here, and a good reference to advance the thesis: '2022 is a particularly good vintage in Touraine.' I hope to grab a few more bottles for drinking throughout this decade.

February 11, 2024 - A bit of a joke, really, but if you like the style, you will appreciate the clean, free running juice and this is actually very close to being just juice and not really wine. In it's own right, it' very pure and honest; will sell well in the 11th arrondissement.
