  December 26, 2018 - Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of light amber colour, with fading rims and legs.
  Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lemon, stone fruit of peach and apricot, dried fruit of raisin, tropical fruit of pineapple, maturity notes of honey, mineral notes of stony. The wine is developing.
  Palate: Medium-sweet with high acidity, the wine medium (-) alcohol and full body, and medium (+) intensity flavours of citrus fruit of lemon, stone fruit of apricot, maturity notes of honey, tropical fruit of pineapple, dried fruit of raisin. The wine has a medium (+) finish.
  Conclusion: Very good quality Kamptal GV with an intense nose of good complexity, the wine is sweet but balanced well with the high acidity, making it highly refreshing and elegant. It has also good concentration and complexity on the palate, with a fairly long finish as well. It is ready to drink now and can maintain for another 2-3 years.

  December 16, 2017 - Aromas of ripe yellow fruits, pepper, liquorice, bark and resin. Sweet, waxy and smooth on the palate. Low in acidity.

  March 13, 2013 - This was definitely an interesting wine to try out and I guessed wrongly that this was a German Auslese. Nose had citrus, apricots and peach with quite a decent amount of minerality in there. Ash, tobacco and spices finished it up. Palate was somewhat syruppy with honey and peaches dominating.. Seemed to lack some acidity and while it was interesting, it wasn't memorable or great.
