February 5, 2024 - Found almost empty at bottom of rack, with severe cork damage.

October 15, 2020 - Licorice, cloves, preserved black cherries, preserved blackcurrants. Baking spices, rubber. Full bodied with a nice long finish. This is, as expected, great in 2020!

December 25, 2012 - Eleven months later this is still holding up well. It's a good bottle, although maybe lacking a bit of length and depth.Still plenty of fruit, also some bittersweet notes and a nice smooth texture. A strange feeling of sweet yet dry. Never amazing but has been a pleasure to dip into every couple of months over the year.

    June 10, 2012 - Decant 4 hours:

Cork is a mess, showing seepage and the bottom half is very crumbly.

The wine is full of soft tannin, sweet fruit and sweet fruit in a pretty light frame, which seems to really help balance the berry, citrus and coffee notes. The finish is quite long, with a grand marnier-esque character. Delicious and in its prime.

January 24, 2010 - I found a very last bottle in the cellar, being misplaced with some other port. I haven’t tasted this one for several years. Light colour. More than a 10y tawny than a vintage port on the colour. Just a bit of fruit left, but still very smooth. Probably aged some years too much. Remember the previous bottles as better.
