January 4, 2020 - Elegant, light, great mouth feel and integrated fruit, acids and tannins. Dominant recognizable flavors and leather and tobacco. Fruit is there but not recognizable for me. The wine is definitely at the edge of its life, but still fantastic. Even vacuvinning the bottle as we progressed, the last couple of glasses began to have an acid bite.

January 7, 2018 - It smells like red currant. The wine finishes medium. It tastes like black currant (cassis). The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The wine has round texture.

Sour Grapes Does not like this wine: 83 points
January 5, 2018 - In a strange phase. Seems to be developing secondary characteristics but the oak is too overpowering and takes away from any enjoyable flavors. I have one more bottle to wait and see if this can get better. A pass at the moment.
