September 21, 2022 - Lucious, dark fruit flavors. Velvety, smooth, long finish. Went well with BBQ Country Ribs and, later, (100%) dark chocolate.

November 23, 2019 - P&P. Initial taste the oak bowled me over a bit, vanillin and fruit. Improved with air. Black fruit and some dust on the nose. Lots of roasted coffee and mocha in the mouth, tannins seem a bit hard on the finish. No hurry.

June 29, 2018 - My notes don't do it justice, this wowed us, nice tannins, dark fruit, tasted great, nose was really amazing. Really enjoyed this. Would buy again.

February 23, 2015 - This wine continues to impress. It is an extremely well balanced, nuanced Bordeaux blend that is soft upfront but with enough tannin and acidity to provide some bit on the finish. This is not a big fruit bomb. Chocolate and mocha flavors are emerging as the wine ages against the backdrop of dark black fruits that are slightly aged. really interesting wine that I enjoy.

February 15, 2015 - Its been a year to the day since I opened a bottle and reported on here and I have to say it has hit its drinking window right now and its awesome. BUT BUT BUT The first thing you MUST do with this wine is decant it and wait at least 1 hour. The wine came out of the bottle a very one note acidic and cherry in taste with no refinement subtlety or nuance and very short and dry. I made my wife a lunch of Grilled garlic meatballs and salad and popped and poured this sucker. This was a mistake that benefited me as she rejected the rest of her glass. I have to say my initial reaction was to agree with her but I got distracted then poured her glass into mine. Ohhhh wow what a butterfly. We have licorice with mocha and very Bordeaux like graphite and vanilla cherry blackberry finish that is medium to long and is something quite special. My wife went to sleep and I drank the rest of the bottle gladly. Wow is my reaction. I see there are 307 of these in cellars ladies and gentleman this tastes great right this very minute, ok it tastes great this 60 minutes, don't forget the decant

(DeLille Cellars Harrison Hill Yakima Valley) A very engaging, layered nose with rhubarb, currant, and red licorice with a light earth and herbal component beneath them. A very elegant wine that is beautifully textured with refined fruit and spices. Exceptionally well balanced. Hangs on and on. 65% Cabernet; 25% Merlot; 9% Cab Franc; 1% Petit Verdot. 99% Harrison Hill Vineyard (1% Petit Verdot from Ciel du Cheval).
