Community Tasting Notes 4

June 28, 2012 - Decanted about ½ hour. Rather vibrant nose of cassis dominated dark fruit and a whiff of earthiness. Medium bodied, smooth, good concentration of ripe sweet dark fruit with a hint of oak and some funkiness starting to emerge.Smooth tannins with good grip. Very enjoyable. Has potential to evolve in the cellar for some years.

    December 12, 2010 - Nice.

December 2, 2010 - Beautiful, long and silky. Old-world style. One of the best wines from Argentina.

January 16, 2009 - Rich dark purple color with decent amounts of dark fruit & cedar accompanied by medium tannins; went well with a juicy NY Strip Steak.
