May 12, 2024 - This was a big surprise. 90% carignan if I remember. Drank really well on PnP with maybe 10-15min in the glass. Lighter red fruits, medium-light body, solid acidity and complexity. This one got polished off pretty quickly!

November 24, 2023 - Bright and loud and great fun. Red fruit and white pepper all day long. We put it up against Ridge's Evangelho, which isn't a fair comparison (Ridge's has a big dose of Zin), but so what. It was fun to put this Gen Z wine up against Ridge's Boomer version. The Boomers won in this case (more elegant and balanced), but Desire's wines are always a revelation. This one was no different.
