August 24, 2018 - Nice wine with good acidity and balance. Dark in color with flavors of red fruit on the palette and medium finish. Very nice older wine but had some sediment that I wish I had used my mesh strainer to pour into glass and did get better as the evening went along. Went very well with fresh cheese and Bacon Ravioli in a brown butter, basil and cherry tomato sauce. I believe this wine still had a few more years left.

August 27, 2016 - Brick color, soft tannins, some mature rasberries, stable and rart. Well rounded wine, easy to drink and like. Matured for 6,5 years in my cellar

January 9, 2015 - Drank this with a great Italian meal, including Osso Bucco, and it paired beautifully. Good fruit and acidity. Based on the other ratings, I seem to have liked this wine much better than most, but maybe the context was everything.
