November 30, 2017 - This wine totally blew me away the first time I had it. This round I'd still say very good. Drank next to a '98 Domaine Laurent and it was interesting to me how similar the wines were. The difference came a bit in level of acidity - there was a touch more lightness towards the end of the Laurent and in fruit where this had lovely cranberry and other red fruits and the Laurent was savory only. A wine that really wants to be paired with game (like squab or similar). Enjoyable.

September 27, 2016 - Random Tuesday night (Tipsy Tuesday?) (Riverpark): Opened and decanted and I think I went to it a bit too fast. When first poured it was still a bit stiff. Quicker finish and more fruit dominant than anything else but with some time it opened up quite a bit and get more umami along with the fruit and some leather and just a more complete wine. My favorite of the three Pinots. If drinking now would give it a longer decant (maybe 2 hours) or hold for a bit longer.

February 21, 2016 - This bottle showed a bit more age than the last bottle, although it's still drinking amazingly well. Where the last bottle maintained its brightness, this one showed a bit more earth integrated in with the still-present raspberry and baking spices. This is a fantastic wine, and still feels as though it's got a couple years of life left.

January 17, 2016 - Amazing wine. Seriously expensive for sure--but wow. Cranberry, strawberry, baking spices. A plethora of complex spices and a nice long finish. This is still drinking fabulously and should last at least a couple more years. When you want to splurge on a Willamette Pinot Noir, here's your choice.

October 11, 2015 - Wedding weekend wine tasting! (Willamette Valley): This wine was a straight up 'wow' for me. It was just spectacular. My wine of the trip (although the '02 Monogram was really close). There's cranberry and spice and so many more flavors that I can't quite pick them all out. It's soft and smooth and tastes a bit young, but also like it's pulled together. I was just blown away by this. The drinking window in CT (which says drink by 2012) seems to be very off. This was still young tasting and just fabulous.
