December 2, 2023 - Bedrock recent releases; 10/7/2023-12/2/2023: purplish ruby and appreciable body. subtle notes of leather and spice lace the brambly blue and black fruit of the nose. with a firm yet open-knit structure, fruit appears with freshness in those spaces. incredibly long finish, with notes of spice of pyrazines.
while this will take a good handful of years to open up, it does already show very good balance and promise.
14.5% AbV; from the iron-rich and 2,000-foot elevation Montecillo (Moon Mountain) vineyard; aged in 60% new French oak.
