January 21, 2017 - It may b way passed its peak in 2017, but it's still very good. Dark red in color. Strong ripe black fruit and vegetal aromas. Nice plum and blackberry flavours and chewy with nice velvety finish with hi the of spice.

November 23, 2012 - Hoping this was just a bad bottle because I still have a few to go. Lots of over ripe berries on the nose and palate. Poured most of the bottle down the sink.

March 25, 2011 - i loved this wine! It was like candy ... big mouthful of flavors all thru the taste with just a bit of syrah spice to make it all nice
this was the best vintage of Cherry Ridge I've had yet .... though i've not touched the '06, '07 or '08 sitting in the cellar ... :)
All in all just a great bottle of syrah. I had with chicken cooked in a thin sauce ... worked out great, and the wine didn't need a big heavy meal as some would assume
