January 12, 2023 - Remarkably delicious, perfect cork. Red fruit and a hint of earth, smooth. A perfectly aged Cabernet.

August 27, 2015 - Over the hill and possibly maderized.

July 4, 2015 - Good color. Fresh cassis fruit, hints of cedar, lots of pleasant sage and rosemary. Nice, elegant cassis fruit on the attack, with good gravelly/earthy underpinnings, but while the tannins aren't drying this out, there's a big acid twinge in the back end that cuts off the mid palate. This was probably better five years ago.

September 27, 2014 - Women in Wine - Mike G and Nola visit Cleveland; 9/27/2014-9/29/2014 (A Restaurant on Lee Road): Beautiful showing for this older Cab. The nose has cassis, dust, some tea leaves and dried wood notes. Layered on the palate with cassis and earth and some dried fruit and leaves. I suppose this is past prime, but it drinks so nicely and very much like an Bordeaux with similar age. There is still fruit left too.

September 26, 2014 - Complex aromatics with black cherry, cassis, and herbal notes. Aged yet fresh simultaneously. The palate tastes like it's just a hair beyond its peak yet still drinking well. Cassis, cocoa and dust. Well integrated medium tannins/light acid.
