  July 31, 2009 - Medium dark ruby with slight purple shade. The nose is all about the sweet, almost jammy blackberry fruit.No alchool on the nose though.Medium to full bodied, the palate carries the same fruit with a touch of wood and the usual chocolate. Direct, simple (if boring) but" well" made. The finish is somewhat short as the wine quicky vanhises from the mouth. Low acidity and buried tannins contribuits to the "easy/simple to drink" sort of wine. Drink now...

  September 11, 2008 - Nice chocolate, vanilla, and raspberries. A little light in the mouth but this is servicable. Medium/short finish. Can't complain for the price.

  March 5, 2008 - Murky, ruby red in the glass. Slight smoke on the nose. Tart fruit and bright.

  February 24, 2008 - Excellent if not outstanding. Very fruity and flavorful and would not hesitate to drink again as soon as I buy more...however could possibly improve with cellaring. Medium-bodied, ripe raspberry, strawberry on the palate. Easy finish. We paired with parmesan-mustard pork chops and sauteed sugar snap peas but wife and I both agree this was very good even before pairing with the food.
