August 17, 2008 - This was nice. Paired with halibut and summer corn. This was meursault in nature, with a depth and roundness that was most satisfying for a bougogne. Not inexpensive, but still a nice value for what it is. I prefer this to the Latour meursault of the night before.

June 15, 2008 - Village Meursault at Bourgogne prices. This is a dead ringer for Meursault terroir. Lemon, green apple, butter, and a minerally, nutty overlay make this almost textbook if you want to file it away in your memory, and a great value at around $22. Vibrant, racy, and gets better as it warms up a bit from the fridge. Hard to beat.

March 5, 2008 - Heavy on the toasted oak. Belongs in a lineup of Cali Chard IMO.
