October 23, 2023 - Honeyed fruits, peach and mandarin, beeswax, Asian spices and white pepper. Fat and creamy texture, good salinity and freshness. This is great, great wine today. No hurry here. With Niels at La Contadine.

October 23, 2023 - Very fresh and lively. I guessed Nortern Rhône 2010. There is an oily smooth presence here, bees wax texture, good spice, citrus here galore. Mature, but there is absolutely no hurry here.

July 19, 2019 - Brilliant wine, completely a point (but no hurry). Long, complex and fresh. I love it. Too bad it is so hard to find.

November 23, 2017 - Excellent. Quite open and at perfect drinking window to my taste. Minerals, stony fruits, touch exotic, but really a wine of balance and moderation. Starting to get a bit soft on the finish so would drink bottles from now for sure.

(Pierre Gonon Blanc St. Joseph) #1; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-spectacular; lemon peel component; enormous amounts of acacia flowers; subtle butter; seductive; TASTE-crazy amounts of black licorice; a little apple component on the back-end; extremely over-the-top licorice which I kind of like (many will not); a little gloppy for me, but this is young and can age for 10+ years and may improve, but for now it's a PAZZZ; WS-92; GV-87/88
