  April 16, 2024 - V:Deep garnet
  N: Black raspberry, oak, leather, smoke
  P: blackberry, vanilla, cedar. Medium + acidity, medium ++ tannin, medium to long finish.
  
  Overall solid option. Good flavors.

  March 20, 2024 - Second chance tasting in the past month or so. This time without food, and no aeration. Very much a solid wine, and especially for the price. There is a nice amount of refined upfront red and dark fruit. Last time I thought it was young and rustic. This time I think the acid is just slightly out of balance, and possibly manipulated. The young tannins leave a dryness on the palate, that almost any bite of food like a cracker or cheese would balance out.

  February 26, 2024 - I took a taste, good fruit and decent tannins, better than first bottle, always wonder how consistent can bottles be in large production inexpensive wines, drank with lamb with Chinese veggies and duck confit.
