  May 23, 2012 - Very nice. Fruit - blackcurrent, cassis. Lots of structure still with acidity and tannins.

  March 31, 2010 - Dark in color with a ripe and fat nose. Flavor is ripe and full with lots of boysenberry and a bit of over ripe plum but not much acid to hold it up. A bit flabby.

  September 15, 2008 - Fall Bachanalia (Green Dolphin St, Chicago IL): Nose: good inky and smokey nose with good fruited tones of blackberries, dark cherries, black currants, and some pepper tones

  overall: and excellent syrah with nice fat fruit flavors and silky tannins. Well styled with a blackberry attack and dark cherry finish

  September 1, 2008 - Dark purple. Big fruit nose with cherries and red berries, juicy fruity entry and solid mid palate, zingy acidic touch on the finish. Smooth and nice, reasonable finish. This is a nice and smooth wine but lacks typicity. After a while the nose subsided and became more funky.
