April 18, 2019 - Good red fruit, medium body great finish. Testing great for a wine that’s sopposed to be past it’s prime. 1 more bottle to enjoy over the next year or so.

September 17, 2017 - Let this sit in the bottle for 1 hour. Medium bodied with leathery red fruit, chalky cassis, dark chocolate, and vanilla. Secondary notes starting to show (eucalyptus and damp soil) but otherwise very fresh. Tannins lightly hit on the finish. Has 5 years strong to go.

June 18, 2017 - Great with grilled steaks, roasted sweet potato fries and salad. Had a fair amount of sediment. Decanted for about 90 minutes - it needed at least that much.

August 5, 2016 - This wine was really solid. Good fruit and color, a little shy in bouquet but had an excellent finish, especially as it opened up, which didn't take long. It might be at peak or ever so slightly past, so I'd drink it soon, but it was very enjoyable.
