March 31, 2024 - Found a bottle in my cellar. Alive and kicking after all these years, and reckognicable as a Syrah from northern Rhône: medicinal and blood behind secondary aromas of jammed darker berries.

November 6, 2015 - This is currently in a very good place. Probably the best bottle I've had so far. Soft fruit, rich spice, still fresh and precise. Had 1.5h decant, which probably helped (nose little funky on opening, but soon blew off).

March 1, 2015 - Dark red mature color. No signs of the young purple anymore. Smells ground white pepper, paprika, leather and forest berries. Taste is good, full, juicy and balanced. The power increases with time and air. Good strength and long finish. Lots of fruit turning from fresh to mature. A delightful sweetness in the fruit, paired with rounded and nicely integrated tannins. Very good and gets better and better during the evening. At its peak now. A perfect age for this relatively simple syrah in a star vintage. Darn, this is good. This one has really developed since I tasted it last time. I'm so happy syrah ages so easily. 5 years from fresh pinkypurple fruit to ripe and mature deep red gorgeousness. Find a good vintage syrah and buy what you can afford.

    August 6, 2013 - Ap: Blackish purple
Ar: Ripe forrest berries, pepper and cherries
Prettylight body and lacks some intensity. On the positiv side; delicate and smooth mouth feeling
    Medium length
