February 23, 2024 - Pale gold color. Honey Peach pear mineral bouquet. Good concentration with excellent flavor and bone dry. Outstanding acidity. 36 hours later sitting on the counter no change. Loaded with flavors of peach, flint, mineral, Stone, dry honey. Long finish. Outstanding qpr. Considering the fruit and flavors of this wine along with the excellent structure I think it should be good for 5 to 10 years after the vintage. Some of these wines can be incredibly long-lived without any sugar but it really depends what you're wanting out of the wine. Also I've never had an age to wrestling with a screw cap so I'm not sure how well those age and how that affects aging. Still definitely absolute must try.

January 25, 2024 - 94+. Another killer showing! Pale gold color. Explosive bouquet of peach, peach liqueur, mango, tropical flavors, grapefruit. Light to medium Bodied with outstanding concentration and great acidity. Bone dry but yet with great fruit so it is beautifully balanced. A gorgeous Kaleidoscope of flavors and incredible complexity. Dry Peach, mango, then Peach liqueur then citrus then grapefruit followed with Incredible minerality and salinity with slate and wet Stone followed by a very long acidic mineral Citrus finish which lasts and lasts. Great balance. While this is an outstanding food wine it has such flavors and good fruit that you can still sip on it and enjoy it.. drink now to 2029 to enjoy it and it's beautiful youth. With the acidity and fruit like this it should last many years longer but then it will start to develop a lot of secondary flavors and change it's flavor profile. Incredible qpr. I wish there was more support for kosher German wines as the quality is incredible and the prices are very reasonable. This is definitely a must try.

January 12, 2024 - Pale straw to light gold color. Explosive bouquet of pear, peach, mango along with other tropical notes. On the pallet it is concentrated and complex with delicious bracing acidity to keep the fruit Lively and extremely interesting. Completely dry. Flavors of peach liqueur, mango, pear, citrus, minerals, slate with a long finish. Great food wine but so delicious it could be consumed as a sipper. Outstanding qpr. If this wine had a cork I would say it would last many many years. I don't know with a screw cap how long things can go although I've had older Goose Bay wines with the screw cap that we're still intact. Quite honestly this is so delicious I don't think anybody's going to have this around for a very long time but I'm certainly going to roll the dice and see how it ages out over several years with the screw cap. Incredible qpr. And absolute must try. Warning though for those who are expecting this to taste like the Nik Weis or the Von Hovel you'll be in for a shock. This showcases how the different regions of Germany taste is so different with the same grape it also shows how great the Riesling grape is. Easily drink now and over the next 6 years but it should probably last many many years Beyond that.
