June 16, 2009 - Last of 3 bottles. This wine is drinking beautifully right now. The nose oozes with dark fruit (blackberries, black cherries), truffle, very characteristic of aged Merlot. Soft tannins and a plush palate.
A complete steal for 9 euros.

January 2, 2009 - Gorgeous dark colour, showing just a little but of evolution. The nose is sexy, full of violets, plums and blackberry liqueur... Reminded me somehow of a top notch young Burgundy... The palate gives way to nice, ripe black fruits like cassis and blackberries, tanins are soft and mellow... The hot 2003 vintage is not showing too much, apart from a little lack of acidity... Nice bottle, to pop right now or over the next two years or so... My girlfriend thought it was very velvelty...

September 26, 2008 - Ripe with dark rich earth, smoke, black fruits, leather, hints of mocha and tobacco. Sweet black fruit on the palate. Not a ton of structure or complexity. This should last several more years nonetheless. This is a well made, solid wine. It shows it's appellation reasonably well and is a good value as well.
