Community Tasting Notes 3

January 16, 2010 - Another great 2001 Brunello that is right in the middle of the drinking window. The tannins have smoothed out since we had this about 20 months ago and had the nose of sour cherries and that classic Brunello taste on the palate. This has been my go to producer for a value ($40) Brunello in a number of vintages and they continue to deliver.

August 17, 2008 - Wow this was really drinking well. Decanted for 1 hour it had that dark brick red color. Nice nose of cherries, earth and a hint of cola. Good mouth-coating tannins. Glad I have one more for next year!
