March 12, 2022 - Killer nose with rich fruit, beach tar, and flowers. Clear, dark pinkish red turning to a light mature orange. There’s depth underneath the high toned red fruit, eg raspberries and strawberries. This will unwind and develop from its still tight state. The acid is a bit overwhelming, such that the wine is sharp. Perhaps 5-10 more years will even that out.

December 10, 2017 - In the zone now and years to go. Definitely California, but it avoids the confected, high alcohol nonsense of Napa. Excellent acidity and proper weight for pinot, subtle raspberry and spice - lovely.

May 14, 2016 - Medium red color with no bricking. On the nose, there was ample red fruit and spice. The palate matched ripe red cherry and tart raspberry with an evident mineral note and a spicy finish. This was light-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lovely acidity. Overall, I really enjoyed this wine for its fruit purity and its mouthfeel.

April 4, 2014 - Really quite a nice pinot. Red fruits, fair bit of spice, hint of menthol which I'm not wild about, bright palate with tart red fruit, a bit too much of an acid bite on the finish, but overall a very nice wine.
