June 6, 2014 - Pulled from fridge approximately 20 minutes before serving. Very light pop on opening. Light bubbles. Shows notes of bruised apple, brioche, pear, and a touch of citrus on the bouquet. Initially I picked up flavors of brioche and ripe red apple, those mixed with what seemed to be subtle strawberry. It's definitely oxidized and maybe a little past peak. Still, good minerality almost makes up for the softened acid. Tasty but overall, nothing special for our palates.
