November 6, 2009 - Duck Dinner; 11/5/2009-11/6/2009 (Peter Pratt's Inn): I brought this and was not very impressed with it. Lots of minerals, very flinty. Had a touch of orange zest on the finish, a bit hot too. No floral notes one would associate with Viognier. Maybe it was off or too cold.

May 5, 2009 - Floral. A hint of spices. Nutty. 15.9 abv but does not show it. Oily. A tad flabby.

May 5, 2009 - First Tuesday of the Month - Pegau (Lenny's Home, NYC): This was pleasant and relatively inexpensive. Clean, crisp. I think the Cold Heaven was better, though.

December 28, 2008 - Not quite as enjoyable as last time out. Very floral with notes of petrol and wet rocks. Well made, but I would like just a hint more fruit on it. One glass left over for the next night and this improved quite a bit. The fruit came out of hiding. 86 on the first night 89 on the second.
