February 23, 2011 - This wine held up very well. Impressive fruit and weight for the bottle age. More of an drinking wine than a food wine, but good nonetheless. Gobs of stewed fruit and jam. If you are fan of the extraced Cali Petie Sirah, this one will make you smile. If you have any laying around, its time to drink up.

April 8, 2008 - Nice component of earth that is missing from most California reds at this price point. Well integrated flavors and nice complexity. Opened it on a Friday and was still hanging in there when we got back to the second half of the bottle on Tuesday, though a cherry taste dominated.

November 8, 2007 - This wine has a big nose with berry and some earth. Color is deep dark purple. Flavors linger with pleasant, balanced tannins. The wine was a bit tight just after opening, but opened beautifully as described.
