January 15, 2010 - Still massively tannic. Fruit is huge. Try again in 5 years.

September 15, 2008 - Fall Bachanalia (Green Dolphin St, Chicago IL): nose: nice bold nose filled with blackfruits, anise, chalky tones, and bits of black pepper
taste: full flavors on the palate with medium body giving off flavors of blackfruits, anise, and black pepper tones
overall: an excellent wine. Bold and full while not being overwhelming as the wine works well in balance. Nicely balanced blackfruited attack that gives way to a black pepper finish -

March 2, 2008 - Big, ripe, tannic, herbal. Gets much better with 6-7 hours of air. The wine goes from hugely ripe to balanced but too tannic. This makes me think this will improve with several more years in the cellar.
