March 28, 2023 - What a pleasant surprise! This wine is in a great place right now. If you like mature Bordeaux this is a wine you’ll enjoy as well. The tannins are disappearing, but the fruit is still holding on strong and the acidity is kept in check. The nose is beautiful and it has a nice long finish. There is hardly any bricking, it looks more like 2016 than 2006 color wise. I’d say it is at it’s peak now and will continue to drink well for the next few years. So it is time to start drinking this one now. While it is no Château Lafite Rothschild, most will enjoy this.

May 28, 2022 - This one is still improving. In tonight's taste test with 2006 and 2007 vintages, a leg of lamb and exquisite scalloped potatoes, the 2006 was refined, complex and a wonderful companion to the meal. Sadly, I have only 1 bottle left in the cellar.

December 19, 2011 - Got better second day. First day lots of green herbs

June 12, 2011 - Rich dark red color with good body. Aromas of cedar and spice, with lush berry backbone. Blackberry jam on the palate, with flavors of vanilla and spice. Also has a mineral / crushed rock thing going on too. Very interesting and delicious!

September 3, 2010 - Agree that this one doesn't match up to prior years, and isn't getting any better. My old standby; thankfully last bottle of '06.
