Community Tasting Notes 5

August 25, 2011 - Quiet nose of wet steel. Good minerality to balance the creamy richness, with a some of that 2001 acid snap-crackle-pop on the finish. Notes of honey, petrol and vanilla. 90-91 pts.

August 25, 2011 - Good acidity, a little sweet, rather big-bodied, with green apple, citrus, and a surprising bit of spice. Nice enough, but I continue to be less enamoured with this style of Riesling.

May 19, 2008 - Has improved signifantly over the past couple years, gaining body weight and synchronicity. Still a tight core of fruit controlled by the acidity, but the finish is long and resolute. Drink after 2010.

September 21, 2006 - Tart and limey. Was hoping for more ripe fruit.
