  September 27, 2021 - This is drinking very well. I don't think I would have liked this wine in its youth, but it has been very fun and delicious to drink over the past couple years. There is still a ton of very ripe fruit on the nose (strawberries, raspberries), but it is not overly jammy at this point given the tertiary notes on the wine - rather, the fruit seems to be shining now. The alcohol shows a bit too much on the nose and the palate for my taste. The tertiary notes on the nose (forest floor, dried mushrooms, leather) add such a nice dimension. The tannins are very fine but still present - mostly resolved though. Acidity is nice. My cork was perfect - I used a Durand and had no problems.

  May 6, 2021 - Raspberry ,stewed prune, forest floor, lead pencil, hint of strawberry. Full bodied. One bottle remaining.
