May 28, 2023 - When looking for a red to accompany bucatini and sautéed shrimp I came upon this bottle. Besides for a soft cork and a touch of sediment, this wine paired nicely. Less fruit on the palate was not a problem with this entrée.

December 31, 2011 - I am finally understanding the value of the Noceto Riservas: let them age and give them plenty of air and you have a really fine example of the varietal. Glad I have more. This 05 has plenty of life left. Wonderful balance of the cherry fruit, acid to make it an excellent food wine, soft tannins and nice mouthfeel. Good value too.
