As much as I prefer Burgundy, I think that Pinot Noirs from warmer regions have their place too. I’d give this a high 80s— but with the caution to drink in the shorter term and serve with pacific salmon (at the lightest) or preferably a lighter pork dish. This is a killer wine for the early summer barbecue and freakishly warm spurts (like right now when we have a few days that would make San Diego blush) that the PacNW occasionally experiences.
