March 9, 2017 - Pretty fun for an 11 year old PS with the only downfall being that it is a little one dimensional; powerful and dark wtih tannins that tell me this would keep for another 5 years at least; nice nose but the palate falls a bit flat and the finish isn't long.

May 19, 2012 - not a lot of depth and the fruit had mellowed

December 2, 2011 - Almost black when poured. Nose of ink, minerals, slight tar. Heavy in everything dark. Palate is a great mix of dark and red fruit, tobacco, slight drying tannis. Needs more time to develop but, damn. Medium finish with sweet plum and slight acidity. 14.7% ABV powerhoues. Will save the other 2 for several years.

November 4, 2011 - Chocolate, coffee, blackberry. Like biting into an acorn (there's a Vaynerchuk-style descriptor)
    Interesting, if not spectacular, wine.

September 24, 2011 - not nearly as much depth as we expected. Still lots of fruit

(Elyse Rutherford Petite Sirah) #2; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-very dark; NOSE-big, bold blueberry and blackberry; very jammy; candied; very bright fruit; very dark; shaved dark chocolate; very inky; PALATE-this is a big wine, but as powerful as it is, it's not completely ripping my face off; the tannins are firm; it is a very big wine; a little one dimensional in it's fruit bombiness; good firm and sweet tannins; I get some tobacco on the back-end; very dark; this is big boy wine; people into big Napa Cabs should enjoy this and Petites in general; a little too much oak coming through; a little vanilla and Creme Brule coming through on the back-end; it's missing a little on the mid-palate so not the most complex wine of all time -- like an NBA Slam Dunk champion who can dunk, but is not a complete basketball player (Dee Brown, Kenny Walker or Cedric Ceballos); this is very flashy and can seduce a lot of people and palates, but it's not the complete package; it's a good wine and a lot of fun, but the one dimensional aspect stops me from scoring this higher; it's a sexy wine, but lacking depth and has no mid-palate which makes me question how this evolves over the next 5-10 years; JR-91; GV-88+ (initially scored this 89+, but adjusted to 88+)
