July 7, 2016 - unique wine from monopole, high-altitude vineyard directly west of grand cru Echezeaux; ripe, roasted pear, almond, pie crust; golden color, mature but not over the hill; this wine is much more about the quality of the producer than of the humble appellation

October 25, 2012 - Meilleur vin blanc de la cave. Note d'agrumes, pamplemousse. Couleur dorée.

August 1, 2011 - Another excellent bottle of this really good QPR. Meo for less than $30?!?!?! Montrachet this is not, but it's darn good wine. Good fruit, not a ton of wood, great minerality and crisp acidity - well balanced. Not incredibly complex and the finish is a bit short.

May 21, 2011 - Very enjoyable white burg - crunchy minerality, savory, nice weight on the palate. The minerality gives it a lot of complexity upfront. We also detected some artichokes (?!), white peaches and lime on the palate. Feels very young, but enjoyable. I read in Bill Nanson's report that this site tends to struggle to achieve ripeness in cool years, but in a warm 2006, this is singing. Recommended.
