September 4, 2016 - Lots of olive when first opened, then more dark red fruit showed. Bright, rich red color. A bit ripe, but the age has helped it. Tannins smoothed out and drinks well now. Could use a little more complexity but perhaps that will come with more time.

December 2, 2015 - A light style of syrah, which I like. Aromas of red raspberries, bbq meat and herbs. The palate matches adding black cherry and earth. Medium acidity and medium+ tannins. Drinking well now with a bit of air, this could potentially improve through its 10th birthday then last another 5+ years. I wish I had more than one.
