October 22, 2009 - This is one of the biggest blasts of ripe raspberries I have experienced in wine. Unusual, perhaps, but clean and most importantly enjoyable. 30 months in oak (not new?) but that didn't seem to deter the fruit expression. I could still taste it after dinner was over. Medium body, well proportioned, with a good mid palate and lingering finish. Ready now but no rush. Wonderful but not textbook typical.
