  February 3, 2011 - I wish I would have bought more of this. It is really a steal. Nice leather and dark cherry nose. That dark cherry comes through very strong on the palate. This was one of the first wines I bought when we started getting into wine. I had the 2005, but it's not as good. ($9)

  December 1, 2008 - This blend is 50% Garnacha, 25% Tempranillo and 25% Cab Sauv. Dark ruby red to purple in color. A whiff of tar and oak on the nose. Full bodied. Black cherries and plums up front give way to a simple mid-palate and finish.
  
  Returned to this two days later and now there's a wonderful layer of vanilla cream on the mid-palate. I just popped and poured upon opening so do yourself a favor and decant to unlock the complexity. I'm upping my rating from 87 to 89. Another solid Borsao QPR.
