Community Tasting Notes 3

    May 5, 2011 - A: light gold
N: Sweet potato. Yup, root vegetable which are buttery and unripe stone fruit.
P: Buttered underripe carrot. JTH gets peapods and herbaceous. Bandaid, parsnips, a bit of apple and JTH pointed out the cashew nut before i did.Good concentration but not a pleasant taste. The 13.5% alcohol is burning the throat. QPR was awful at $40. Bought it at the winery who claimed this was 'popular in america'.

August 12, 2010 - Wine Education Service - Fne Whites from Southern Burgundy (LSE): A pleasant slightly oaky nose, quite a lot of mineral complexity, stony, vegetal development and some nuttiness.
A hint of oak in the mouth with rich ness, creamy, oily,, nutty, loads of life beyond fruit.

January 29, 2010 - Did not take notes. The wine was missing some flavor on the midpallet. A litte to much oak for my taste. But overall nice wine with the right pouilly-fuissé taste.
