  December 17, 2022 - Pale gold. Not overly developed nose with camomille, preserved lemon, hay and some white flowers with a (not unpleasant) cheminical touch. Medium- body, medium alcohol, medium acidity, medium finish. Typical almond bitterness on the palate that gives a crisp hint. Wine still very fresh and does not show its age overtly, on the otherhand the palate is slightly lacking in concentration and the finish to short to make a lastig memory. No obvious sighns of decline. Did not buy it my self but advertised price for a magnum of +-120 euros is too expensive.

  February 19, 2021 - Mature and with plenty of character. Rich, baked meyer lemon/ tangerine tones, savory herbs integrated with stony, sun-baked minerality. Holding together but unlikely to improve more. Will drink my last bottle of this vintage this year.

  August 22, 2020 - Still showing well, though a few years older than I expected to leave it. plenty of verve and flavor. paired very well with two night's meals: slow roasted pork shoulder with carmelized onions, fennel, bacon and figs; mussels in orange basil broth. Bucci is brilliant!

  December 31, 2014 - Gorse flowers, linden, chamomile, mediterranean aromatic herbs, orange blossom honey, peach, hazelnuts, flint. a general sensation of minerality. At palate fresh and silky. very long finish. A classic verdicchio riserva. Can age many more years.

  July 25, 2013 - Chicago Italian Lovers round 3-2000 Barolos (Sapori Trattoria, Chicago IL): Nose: Light and aromatic nose with tones of oyster shells, lemon curds, minerals, white fruits, and some custard notes as well. There is some depth that is lacking, but the nose is very nice.
  
  Taste: Light bodied with crisp medium+ acidity. There is a deftness to the tones of lemon curds, custard, white fruits, and oyster shells.
  
  Overall: This is a very interesting and enjoyable wine. There is a real nice light quality to it, though it is lacking some depth.
