September 10, 2010 - Dark red color. The nose doesn't give much up -- a little wood, a little light red fruit. I'm really struggling to get anything. Mouthcoating, getting some dark fruit and cocoa on the palate. Medium+ acid. There is tannin but it's not out of control. This reminds me of a syrah from Australia. Hopefully this will give up a little more fruit as it opens.
