October 11, 2008 - Initial funk on the nose but blew off after a little while. Wine seemed to improve as it remained open. Sour cherries, hint of earthiness. Solid weeknight Italian red. Perfect for pizza, pasta, etc.

August 4, 2008 - Drank with spaghetti. Purple in color, high acidity, red fruits but pretty unremarkable for a $12 bottle. More an $8 value.
