March 21, 2024 - I confess I am partial to Mâcon wines for their quality and fair price. However, many Mâcon-Villages, especially shipper bottled ones, are "meh". This wine shows a light gold color, appropriate nose and taste of lemon curd with a pleasing fruit-driven finish. While just a Mâcon-Villages, it could compete with more well-known Pouilly-Fuissés at twice the price.
