November 27, 2010 - Absolutely an astonishing wine. We had it last night with salmon with red curry, but it's a great drink-on-it's own bottle. The dark fruit is a combination of blackberry and currants and something I couldn't put my finger on. The finish doesn't...it just keeps on going. It was perfectly structured, with more tannin than one usually finds in a pinot, but it worked. If Adelsheim has any left, grab it.

July 6, 2008 - Opened not decanted. Tasted at the winery. Quick notes: showing similar characteristics as the 06 Penner-Ash Goldschmidt that we tasted the day before, but not quite as good; sweet dark cherry and blackberry fruit, ending with a dry finish. Good.
