November 28, 2015 - Delicious, but past its peak. Starts very short but opens nicely. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like forest floor, black currant (cassis), raspberry and alcohol/hot. It tastes like black currant (cassis), raspberry, clove and black pepper. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

January 2, 2015 - This was a beautiful wine that I feel is hitting its peak. Dark, ripe fruit nose with just a touch of earth. Spice, cola and fruit forward but still enough acidity to balance everything out. I would suggest drinking now.

May 31, 2014 - Took awhile to open up. Past it's prime but still very enjoyable.

November 6, 2013 - Deep dark color. Wonderful aromas. Dark fruits on the palate. Great finish. Very full bodied, nice tannins. This was darker and fuller than most Pinots I have had. And loved it. Went very well wth a veal osso bocco. Wish we had more than one bottle.
