November 13, 2023 - Before I even knew the origin of this really nice Pinot, my nose and first sip told me it was a cold climate red wine. It is perfectly ripe and has great color, so we surmise the grapes got a lot of sunshine. It is deep and rich while being almost as lush as a Pinot can be, yet still has an aura of delicacy. It’s full and complete from nose to finish. Totally integrated, but should easily age for years, as the acids and tannins are still sharp and rustic.
