Community Tasting Notes 7

August 16, 2014 - Superb, mature, cold, even its 15 prst. alc. Cold fruit, rich smell of cherrys, plums and a long aftertaste of cherryskin. Cellar, leather and cigarrcase. Not the sugarsweet amarone you use to get. This is the angcient style of Amarone. It could stayed in cellar at least five years more.

June 2, 2013 - Dark, lush fruit, great mouthfeel, medium finish.

April 8, 2012 - fast moving legs, medium density, brick red, prunes, high alcohal candied sweetness, not complex medium intensity, sweetness, crip acidty, taste better than it smeels, drying tannins, medium, great with asiago cheese because it cuts the sweetness, medium finish

January 20, 2012 - Loved this! Decanted 1 hour. Dry with wonderful lush finish. This was this star of our tasting.

July 18, 2011 - Delicious fruity, oaky and very well developed wine. Huge notes of delicate porto with all sorts of other complex but familiar aromas that I couldn't put a finger on, but loved! Paired with bbq'd chicken breast with a spicy and sweet yet bold sauce along with grilled red peppers. Wonderful wine, great for pairing with a surprisingly wide range of foods or on its own!
