January 29, 2011 - Huge, thick, deep purple cab that, as so many good but young wines do, got better over time. First day was almost fruit bomb-like on the open, but very dry on the almost astringent finish. Second day the complexity of the fruit came out, and the tannins began to integrate a bit. Then, rather astonishingly, with barely a half-glass left on day-3, I took a whiff, then a gulp, and quickly wished I had more.
