May 6, 2014 - Simple but very food friendly S-L-B. Savoury dark fruits, meduim finish with still plenty of grip. Can't see this improving much from this so drink up short term

May 1, 2013 - Medium ruby core, pale garnet rim. Nose shows slightly savoury dark fruit with notes of tilled earth and a touch of mulch and farmyard. On the palate this is medium bodied with black cherry, a touch of blackcurrant, it's reasonably generous across the mid-palate with firm but quite civilised tannins only really evident on the finish, although the acidity is perhaps slightly muted. The finish is medium length and shows some attractive savoury and smoky notes. Overall very good.

August 14, 2012 - Lovely modest red Burgundy. Aromas of fresh pinot fruit, earth and mulch. Poised and balanced on the palate: flavours of ripe, deep, succulent berries and red cherries, lifted by nice suppleness and lively acidity. Fairly simple and straightforward, but delicious and absolutely ready to drink.
