March 26, 2024 - Last wine at Rijks in Tulbagh and out first trip up here. This bottle is aged for 22 months in a mix of 40% new French and American oak.
Medium ruby red. Interesting nose with rhubarb and spiced herbs. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and a medium plus body. Well rounded with similar notes on the palate. Long finish. Drink till 2030.1 person found this helpful Comment
